People were filmed running for cover as a controlled avalanche hit the Russian ski resort of Cheget on February 21.
Footage here, filmed by Instagram user @ronni_007_07, shows people rushing into a cafe as the avalanche arrives.
According to Russian news reports, the “forced avalanche release” was carried out by specialists on Mount Elbrus.
