Toly tells the story of how his wife reacted when he came up with the idea for Solana:
“My wife is an engineer. She was the first person that I had to convince and she was like, ‘Okay, this might work…’
I was manic for like four days after that eureka moment popped into my head – and really and my entire life…I’ve always had a side project. I was always working on some idea on the side.
We already had one kid and she basically told me ‘You can’t do a job AND be a father AND do a startup on the side. You gotta pick two, and the kid is not optional.’”
