During the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference on Tuesday, Bob Iger spoke about the future of the company’s Parks and Experiences division. Iger shared just how much land is available and how IP can be leveraged to achieve that: “We have thousands of acres of land still to develop. We could actually build seven new, full lands if we wanted to.” Some of this could be for the blue sky ideas pitched at Destination D23, we’ll talk about the possibilities.
In the same conference, Iger talked about the planned addition of Avatar to Disneyland, this time calling it a “land” which was later resended. Seems like they really need to be on the same page about this one.
A survey has been going around asking people to weigh in on the virtual queue system for Tron at Magic Kingdom. Cosmic Rewind and Tron are the only 2 attractions left as a virtual queue. With Genie+, Lightning Lane and stand by, are there too many things for a normal guest to keep track of?
Exciting news about new scenes coming to Star Tours has finally been confirmed with an opening date! Additional segments are being added for Andor, Ahsoka, and The Mandalorian. We now know when, and we can’t wait to discuss it!
Plus, we’ll talk about exciting changes coming to the dining reservations in the app, Easter offerings that have popped up at Walt Disney World, a very funny glitch at the Carousel of Progress, and the return of Magic Keys to Disneyland!
